French Slang

Wednesdays at 2:00pm on Zoom with Manon. She will provide the link to registered students via email prior to the start date of the course.

Students will be able to understand the colloquial language spoken by all French people, from adolescence to adulthood. They will have acquired a large number of expressions, words and verbs used in everyday French. An intermediate level is required so that students can express themselves more easily with the class and practice the expressions shared in class.

This semester's slang class will focus only on film clips and songs. Each class will analyze a film clip or a song by a popular artist in France to examine the language and slang expressions found therein. Students will be invited to practice dialogues and discuss these expressions. 

This course requires B1 proficiency or above.
