Join fellow lovers of local culture at L’Union Française for a special evening of language and music and cultural exchange. In conjunction with the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation, we are welcoming musicians from Brittany to our famous Cajun Jam for a very special evening. Starting at 4PM, we will host a reception for our guests from France. Then from 5PM-6PM, we are hosting a Table Française (free-form conversation gathering for people wishing to practice their French) where we will share phrases in Kouri-Vini and Cajun French with our visitors while they share some of their own Breton. From 6M-8PM, our local musicians will play with our Breton visitors. This event is open to community members and any musicians who wish sit in. Bring yourself, bring a friend, even bring your preferred beverage. See you on the porch!
